Well, what can I say? I started this blog to express my feelings about the ever changing world we live in. The internet has always been sort of a salvation for me. It allowed me to say and sometimes do what what I want without having to deal with the harsh reprocussions sometimes dished out in life. I am a 20 year old male college student. I am going to school for Network security. I used to be in the US Navy. I was an intelligence & telecommunications sepcialist.

The other night I was watching CNN and I saw the video. Now alot of civil rights groups are comming forward and calling police brutality on this case. Right now I am in Police Science. I looked at this video quite closely actually and saw no brutality at all. The two officers used force deemed necessary for the situation. One of the officers even had a clear blow at his head but stuttered and hit him in the back instead. I urge people to review the video and read the full report before making judgement in this case. In the video this 350 LB Afro-American was throwing the officers around. On top of his size he was under the influence of PCP and cocaine. He soon stop resisting and stopped breathing at the same time. EMS was called and he died. The coroner called this a homicide. The coroner stated and I quote: " The struggle caused cardiac dysrhythmia, which was the ultimate physical cause of death, but he stressed the event precipitating his death was the struggle." Well, I'll let you guys be the jury on this one. Please send me your feedback on this case.

I saw the tape, too, and I have to agree with you that it wasn't murder. I'm not sure he deserved a beating, but if that's what it takes to stop a charging heavy-weight from battering police officers, I'd say the means to restrain the guy were necessary.

It wasn't murder...the guy killed himself by being a fat slob on drugs!
